JOURNAL: Ch 4: 6 Get Social

ICEBREAKER: Social Selfie: Each participant will take a quick, imaginary selfie with their phone. As they “snap” the photo, they will say one thing about themselves they would like to share (e.g., a fun fact, a current social activity, or something they value in social interactions)

OBJECTIVE: Identify and reflect on current social roles and relationships. Explore aspirations for social identity and desired social connections. Understand the gap between current social self and ideal social self. Develop self-awareness and set goals for improving social interactions.

PROJECT: Social Self Portrait: Part 1: Create a self-portrait that represents their current social identity. Encourage the use of symbols, colors, and images that reflect their current roles, relationships, and feelings about their social life.
